Features of the Landyatchz Dinghy Skateboard:

Design

Design-wise, the Dinghy is undoubtedly the king of the skateboard world. The Dinghy comes in a whopping 23 mind-blowing designs. Be it a dragon, a bird, a dog or the sky, this board offers it in every design.

It has a very compact design and it weighs only about 5.8 pounds. The compact design makes it a perfect fit to carry around in your backpack, arm even in the bus and airplane as it can easily fit in the locker or cabinet. Overall, it’s quite an attractive and fun skateboard that’s a superb option for the daily commute.

Deck

The Landyachtz Dinghy features a directional top mount deck. The construction of the deck is a bit stiff so it’s suitable for popping and sliding the skateboard. It’s made with maple wood which offers superb durability. It has a mellow radial concave shape that enables the foot to be placed in a comfortable position even while you’re riding downhill or speedy turn. The deck has a length of 28.5 inches with a width of 8 inches. It’s made with 7-ply maple that offers utmost durability and making it way more long-lasting than plastic.

Trucks

We mentioned earlier that Landyacthz uses their sister brand Polar Bear trucks on their skateboards. The Dinghy features 105mm, traditional kingpin trucks that offer superb turnability. Well, the narrow trucks aren’t as stable as the big ones, however, it blends perfectly with the dinghy’s small deck size.

Bear trucks are known for their extreme tolerance to maximize loops. The trucks also include 25″ riser to minimize the risks of wheelbite. The base of the trucks has 8 holes altogether which enables you to customize the board in both old school and new era hole patterns.

Wheels

Landyachtz uses Hawgs Wheels which is another brand that they own. The Hawgs wheels are made with Landyachtz Dinghy proprietary urethane which offers superb durability and they are also rigorously tested downhill in freeriding condition.

The 63mm diameter & 78A durometer wheel may seem small but they are a perfect match with the size of the Dinghy’s deck. The urethane gives a squishy yet firm feeling and the skater is able to ride in all kinds of terrains and conditions.

Bearings

The Dinghy is equipped with Bear Spaceball ABEC7 rated bearings which helps the wheels to stay aligned and wiggle-free. They also enable you to easily change the wheels and tighten the axles without hampering the setup. The bearings add to the overall strength of the board and allow it to withstand a large amount of impact without getting damaged.
